Rohingyas Fundraising Dinner

Rohingyas Fundraising Dinner

Posted on behalf of Amnesty Essex

Described as the world’s most persecuted people, 1.1 million Rohingya people living in Myanmar are currently trapped in a dehumanising system of state-sponsored discrimination and racial segregation. They are reviled by many as illegal immigrants and they suffer from systematic discrimination. The Myanmar government treats them as stateless people, denying them citizenship.
Amnesty International demands that the Chief Commander, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, immediately ends the armed forces’ campaign of violence and human rights abuses and ensures that humanitarian agencies, the UN, independent journalists and human rights monitors have free and unrestricted access to Rakhine state, and ensure their security in doing so.

Amnesty Essex organizes a fundraising dinner to help the Rohingya people. There will be food, music, singing, dance and a lot more.

Help us to fundraise as much as we can.
See you there :)
