Colchester Death Cafe February 2018

Colchester Death Cafe February 2018

Posted on behalf of Alina Croitoru

Colchester Death Cafe is back in 2018. Join us for tea, coffee and an informal chat about death and dying in a confidential and welcoming space at Firstsite Colchester.

Everyone is welcome to explore ideas and feelings about death and dying. The aim of death cafes is to bring the topic of death and dying back into the public space in order to increase awareness and acceptance of the fact that each of us is going to die.The purpose of the Death Cafe movement is to increase awareness of death in order to help people make the most of their finite lives.

Death Cafes are not affiliated to any religion or spiritual movement, they are not grief support or therapy groups - we do not meet as anything other than people who are going to die one day and want to discuss about the implications of this fact.

Free event. Donations towards room costs are welcome. Tea and cofee available to purchase at the bar, so please ensure you arrive early enough to buy it before we start.

See you there!
